Wick Buildings is a privately held Wisconsin company founded in 1954 by John F. Wick. John Wick is a Wisconsin native and graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, with a background in agriculture and advanced schooling in business and engineering.
In the early days, the post-frame buildings were used mainly on farms in the Midwest. John worked with local farmers to design buildings that improved farm productivity and animal health.
As Wick’s capabilities – and reputation – for quality, service and innovative designs grew, uses for our buildings expanded beyond agriculture.
In 2013 Wick became employee-owned through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and is celebrating its 66th year of continuous operations in 2020.
